Serene Cream base creams are made from the purest, most natural ingredients possible. I incorporate products reknown for their soothing and healing properties and then add my special blend of essential oils. Unlike many products on the market claiming to be "natural", we do not use ANY synthetic, petrochemical or mineral oil based ingredients! We use only natural preservatives and therefore only sell our products in small quantities to ensure freshness. We also only use dark amber glass jars to preserve the purity of the ingredients and to appeal to the environmentally conscious consumer.

So…what is in it?

Insect Bite Cream

Ingredients:
Purified Water, Organic Macadamia Nut Oil, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Vegetable Glycerine, Emulsifying Wax (Vegetable Derived), Organic Cocoa Butter, Pure Beeswax, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Organic Lavender Oil, Organic Cypress Oil, Organic Lemon Oil, Organic Australian Tea Tree Oil.

Directions for use:
Apply generously to affected area as soon as possible after being bitten, reapply as necessary. If the itching persists, we suggest you consult your health care practitioner. If you have bites (particularly sand flies) which are already several days old, it may take several applications of Serene Cream (over a couple of days) to completely soothe the inflammation.
Serene Cream works best for sand fly and mosquito bites but it has also been reported effective for ant bites, nettle rash and other minor skin irritations. Please let us know if you have found the cream effective for other complaints so we can tell others!

Directions for use:
Apply generously to affected area as soon as possible after sun exposure; reapply often in the first 24 - 48 hours to minimize risk of peeling and to promote healing. If burns are severe or blisters form, we suggest you consult your health care practitioner.

General Precautions for both products:

Even though our products contain only natural ingredients and should cause no skin irritation, some skins are more sensitive to certain ingredients than others. Always test for a reaction on a small area of skin before using. If you notice a reaction, discontinue use immediately.
